I’m a second year EECS (electrical engineering and computer science) at UC Berkeley. I’m a developer working on our security project for Cred.
Hi! My name is Jenny! I joined BAB in Fall 2018 as a developer and our internal project was to solve the Low-carbon fuel standard credit trading problem. We created a prototype for the generation, management, and trading of these credits using Ethereum. The following semester, I continued the internal project and joined the external project team as the lead developer. Outside of blockchain, I like to read, sometimes write a little, doodle on my iPad, and just enjoy a sip of boba.
Hi! My name is Tim and I am a sophomore studying Computer Science and Economics. In the past, I’ve worked as a teaching assistant for the Blockchain Fundamentals course on campus. I’ve also worked on a team to develop a platform for eBook sales on the Ethereum blockchain. Currently, I’m on the external consulting for Cred, a financial technology startup in the blockchain space.
Hello! I’m Susan, a second year studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science — interested in the intersection between design, art, and technology. Within Blockchain at Berkeley, I mostly work on User Interface and User Experience (UIUX) Design. Some projects I’ve worked on include redesigning the crypto wallet experience for overseas transactions, creating a blockchain-based music platform targeting newer artists, and designing a blockchain-based academic journal focused on incentivizing peer reviews. I’ve also illustrated some blockchain concepts for educational purposes. Outside of Blockchain at Berkeley I enjoy drawing, reading, and horseback riding.
Ru is a sophomore intending on studying Computer Science and Business Administration with a minor in Data Science. On campus, he’s also involved in Beta Alpha Psi, Berkeley Investment Group, Haas Business School Association, and Boost@BerkeleyHaas. This semester, he’s staffed on the external consulting team for Cred, and in previous semesters has co-developed an eBook marketplace on the Ethereum blockchain. His professional experience includes a mix of software engineering and finance, and he hopes to pursue a career path like quantitative trading that lays in the intersection of both domains.

Hello! My name is Diego and I am a third year EECS major from Costa Rica. This is currently my third semester in the Consulting Department at Blockchain at Berkeley. I spend most of my time developing Proof-of-Concept (PoC) blockchain applications for our external clients. I am very interested in the practical and application side of blockchain; especially using existing tools and platforms to build functional and scalable decentralized applications in the fields of finance, social impact, identity, within others. Please reach out if you are interested in learning about my experience in Blockchain at Berkeley!
Hi! I’m a second year undergraduate student studying computer science. This semester, I am one of the developers for an external consulting project. I have also worked on an online textbook resale project, built on Ethereum. Along with DApp development, I am also interested in AI and NLP. Outside of B@B, I like to try new foods, listen to music, and go to the gym.
